3/17 – We’re headin’ to SXSW with new haircuts
Jump Back Jake’s headin’ to Austin to showcase our new haircuts. Bands we’re looking forward to seeing include Alejandro Escovedo, Augie Meyers, Roky Erickson, and Shawn Sahm play a tribute to Doug Sahm.

2/19 – Updates – SXSW and The Buccaneer
My time in NYC is winding down and I head back to Memphis on Monday. Then it’s time to start putting the pieces together for SXSW where I’ll be playing twice with JBJ and twice with Francis and the Lights. If you are in Memphis, JBJ will be playing a Rock and Roll marathon at the Buccaneer Friday, Feb 27th with: The Infidelles, The Armed Forces (Nashville), and The Bullet Proof Vests. Each band will be blazing through a short set, so we should be on around midnight. We’ll be playing some new material as well.

1/13 – News and Updates (SXSW)
JBJ is thrilled to announce that they will be playing a couple of showcases at this years SXSW music festival in Austin. We hope to see as many of you there as possible. In the meantime we just got back from a great weekend in New Orleans where we were treated like family by everyone we met. Thanks to everyone at the Circle Bar and all of you who came to the show. We had a great time meeting all of you and hope to see you again soon. We’ll also be at one of our favorite bars, the White Water Tavern, next Tuesday in Little Rock. This is going to be a great party and we hope to see as many of you Little Rockers as possible out at the show.
In other news, I’ll be continuing my long time collaboration with Francis Starlight playing lead guitar with him and his band the Lights at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The show is on February 5th. Order your tickets now HERE.
